Patna,(BiharTimes): Abhishek Kumar of of HNK High School, Ara, topped the Class-X Bihar board examination of 2013.

Son of Suresh Prasad, a betel shop owner of Asani in Bhojpur district and Geetanjali an anganwadi supervisor, Abhishek scored 459 marks out of 500.

Aspiring to become an IAS officer he said he would pursue science stream for his Intermediate.

Abhishek, who also works in the agriculture field to support his family, comes from a lower middle class family.

Akhilesh Kumar of Raj High School, Bettiah score 457 and Shivam Dubey of Government High School at Gulzarbagh in Patna and Navya Tiwary of Pushpa High School Piro in Bhojpur district jointly bagged third postion with 454 marks each.

In all 13.49 lakh studnets took the test, of which 73.48 per cent.
