CM asks Purnia division officials to deal with land disputes

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday instructed the DMs, SPs and other officials of Purnia division to review each land related case as the growing number of land disputes could trigger law and order problems.

He asked the divisional commissioner to review issues related to land disputes every month, and said each and every case related to land dispute should be solved by formulating policy.

Addressing a meeting of senior civil and police officials of Purnia division the chief minister took stock of schemes concerning agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery and health and education centres.

Nitish also paid a visit to the ancestral village of noted Hindi writer Phaneshwarnath Renu at Aurahi Hingna village under Forbesganj police station of Araria district. He was greeted by the son of late litterateur and local BJP MLA, Padma Parag Renu. The chief minister met the local people
