Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday asked chief minister Nitish Kumar to speak out on the appointment of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as the chairman of the Campaign Committee of the BJP.

Now that the BJP had in all practical purposes declared Modi as the prime ministerial candidate why is it that Nitish is silent he asked while talking to the media in New Delhi.

Rejecting state JD(U) chief Vashishtha Narayan Singh statement that Modi’s appointment is the internal matter of the BJP Lalu said Bihar chief minister should now make it clear to the nation about his party's stand.

Lalu said now Nitish is prompting his party’s spokespersons to take a plea that it is an ‘internal matter’ of the BJP. They are looking for escape-gates. But now no excuse would work.
