Deputy CM, other BJP ministers not attending offices

Patna,(BiharTimes): Led by the deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi the BJP ministers in Bihar have stopped attending their offices. Not only that reports started appearing that officials in many offices have stopped listening to the order or directive from the BJP ministers.

However, on Tuesday the BJP ministers did attend the cabinet meeting. But if the JD(U) snaps its ties that may be the last cabinet meeting.

From Thursday many BJP ministers stopped turning up to the Secretariat.

There are 11 Bharatiya Janata Party ministers in the Nitish Kumar-led government dominated by the Janata Dal-United.

Incidentally, the Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister, Giriraj Singh, has left for Gujarat.

On Wednesday the BJP ministers preferred to visit their respective Assembly constituencies.

Labour resources minister Janardan Singh Sigriwal was in Chhapra, while urban development and housing minister Prem Kumar went to Gaya. Reports from Gaya said that the officials of Gaya Municipal Corporation have refused to attend a specific order from the minister, who is also the BJP MLA from Gaya Town.

Reports said that the minister had directed the GMC officials to register an FIR against the corporation employees from whose possession vital records have gone missing. But the municipal commissioner of Gaya D Chaudhary made it clear that he would not get any FIR registered in this connection.

If Prem Kumar is facing such a situation in Gaya, the Bhagalpur MLA and health minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey is on the pilgrimage to Char Dham (Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath).

However, road construction minister and state NDA convenor Nand Kishore Yadav said his party ministers are doing their normal work.

On the other hand BJP leaders ruled out defection from the BJP to the Janata Dal(United) and are sure that the party would remain united in Bihar.
