Patna,(BiharTimes): BJP Parliamentary Board on Tuesday appointed former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi as leader of the party in the Legislative Council and Nand Kishore Yadav as the head of the party in the state Assembly.
This will be for the first time that Modi would be the leader in the Council as he is not the member of the Assembly.
After the split in NDA the BJP has become a principal opposition party.
Thus Abdul Bari Siddiqui and Ghulam Ghaus of RJD would no more be the leader of opposition in Assembly and Legislative Council respectively.
