Monsoon Session of Bihar Assembly to start from July 26

Patna,(Bihartimes): The Monsoon Session of Bihar Assembly would commence from July 26. It will continue till August 2. The session would have five sittings. This was decided by the state cabinet here on Monday.

According to cabinet secretary Brajesh Mehrotra a proposal was approved to release a sum of Rs 10 crore from Bihar Contingency Fund for giving an ex gratia of Rs two lakh each to the relatives of those who died in the recent disaster in Uttarakhand. A sum of Rs one lakh each would be given from the CM Relief Fund and by the disaster management department.

He said the state cabinet also approved the  proposal of the social welfare department to set up old age care home, Sahara, in all the districts.
