Cash, properties worth Rs 5.72 cr seized in raids 

Patna,(BiharTimes): Slueths of the Economic Offence wing of Bihar Police on Friday carried out raids on premises of two engineers and seized cash and properties worth over Rs 5.72 crore from them.  Raids were conducted on premises of executive engineer (road construction) Satyendra Kumar Singh and  Assistant Engineer, Irrigation Mukesh Kumar Singh.

According to Additional Director  General of Police (Law and Order) S K Bhardwaj cash and properties of over Rs 3.22 crore were recovered from the Executive Engineer posted at Khagaria. They included papers related to purchase of land, house, cash in banks and swanky cars. 

In raid on Assistant Engineer Mukesh Kumar Singh posted at Araria cash and properties valued at over Rs 2.50 crore were recovered. 

Seizure included purchase of houses, land, cash and vehicles.
