25,000 low-cost flats to come up in four cities of Bihar by 2015

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar State Housing Board (BSHB) will build 25,000 low-cost flats in multi-storied buildings in four cities of Bihar.
All these flats would be completed under PPP mode latest by 2015.

Bihar urban development and housing minister Prem Kumar informed the Bihar Legislative Council during Question Hour recently that the government has fixed a target of building one lakh flats in various districts of Bihar in five years at an estimate cost of Rs 9,500 crore.

Replying to a question of Neeraj Kumar of Janata Dal (United), the minister said the housing board has decided to construct 9,500 flats in Patna, 10,000 in Gaya, 2,500 in Bhagalpur and 3,000 in Muzaffarpur. A proposal to this effect would be placed before the state cabinet for its approval within two months.
