Mahavir Temple Trust to set up new sect

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): The Mahavir Temple Trust is to set up a new sect Ramavat Panth. A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting held recently. The new sect will come into existence on November 13 on Kartika Devotthan Ekadashi. A Sitaram Mahayagna (sacrifice) will be held in the state capital on the occasion.

According to Acharya Kishore Kunal, the secretary of the Trust, Sita, Rama and Hanuman would be the supreme deities for worship and scriptures from the Gita would be recited. Other gods would also be worshipped and scriptures from the Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagwat would find their due place in the sect. The Mahavir Temple in the state capital would be the initiatl headquarters and its branches would be established at Kesariya and Ayodhya. The first task of the sect would be to construct the largest Hindu temple Virat Ramayan in Kesariya in East Champaran.
