PMC to hold special court for 141 banned apartments

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) will hold a two-day special vigilance court to examine the legalities of 141 multi-storied apartments constructed in different parts of Patna.

The special court will be held by PMC Commissioner, Kuldeep Narayan, on November 15 and 16.
The builders of these apartments, who are facing construction ban, have been asked to present their case.

The cases of 21 apartments being built in Kankarbagh circle will come up for hearing on November 15. Builders of Bankipur Circle have been issued notice to argue their cases on the same day while the owners of 60 multi-storied houses in New Capital Circle have been told to appear before the court on November 16.

As the state government has declared November 14 as Muharram holiday the hearing would go on as per the announced programme. However, if the holiday is shifted to November 15 the date of hearing will be changed, the PMC sources said.
