Sonia, Rahul to address public meetings in Kishanganj, Patna

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Perhaps to test the political waters of Bihar Congress president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi are planning to visit Bihar in the mid-December and end of January next respectively.

Incidentally the news of their trips came after both Janata Dal (United) and Lok Janshakti Party dropped enough hint to join hands with the Congress.  

According to the media incharge of the Bihar Congess, Prem Chand Mishra, preparation is going on in full swing for the visit of respective leaders. The final date would be announced soon.

While Sonia would be visiting Kisanganj around December 15 Rahul Gandhi will address a rally in Patna.

In Kishanganj the UPA Chairperson would address a public meeting after laying the foundation stone of a branch of the Aligarh Muslim University. Kishanganj is among the two seats in Bihar the Congress won in the 2009 Lok Sabha election, which it contested alone.

Rahul would address a rally at the Gandhi Maidan in the state capital around January 30.
