Sushil Modi challenges Nitish to prove BJP’s hand in salt scarcity

Patna,(BiharTimes): Former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday strongly refuted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s charge that BJP was spreading the rumour about scarcity of salt in the state.

In a statement he said if Nitish fails to prove the charge then he should quit from his post as he can not get away by blaming the BJP for all ills plaguing Bihar after the June 16 split in the NDA.

Modi further said that this is not for the first time that Nitish has blamed the BJP. He had held the party responsible for the Mashrakh mid-day meal tragedy and poisoning of hand-pumps. His ministers had even gone to the extent of accusing the BJP of having carried out terror attacks in Bodh Gaya and Patna.

According to the BJP leader the rumour of salt scarcity originated from Odisha, then moved on to West Bengal and the North East before spreading to Bihar. Does the Nitish want to say that it is BJP which has spread the rumour in all the states?
