How can BJP escape responsibility from failures of Nitish rule: RJD’s report card

Patna,(BiharTimes): Coming down heavily on the Nitish Kumar government the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Thursday asked as to how can the Bharatiya Janata Party escape responsibility from the failures of the present government when it was in power for seven and a half years.

Releasing the 20-page Janata report card named “Eight Saal Badhal Bihar” state party chief Dr Ram Chandra Purbey, party MP, Ram Kripal Yadav and former minister Ilyas Husain said the BJP is only a duplicate and fake opposition and shedding crocodile’s tears.

The report card has raised 18 questions and alleged that the state government had failed on all the fronts. The much talked about Mid-day Meal scheme has completely collapsed in Bihar. Children are dying or falling sick after eating such meal.

The RJD asked as to how is it that the accused of the Lakshmanpur-Bathe Miapur, Bathani Tola and Nagri massacres got acquitted? The state government is patronizing a particular group of people.

On BJP the party asked as to how can they be different when they were together for 17 long years and were in the state government for seven and a half years.

RJD claimed that it is the strongest opposition party and has the right to expose the failures of the state government. The BJP is only trying to hide the misdeeds of seven and a half years when it was in power.

The report card also alleged that RSS has been provided the land by the Nitish government and said that the communal forces have grown strong in the last eight years.

All the top leaders of RJD were present on the occasion at the party’s state headquarters.

Earlier former chief minister Rabri Devi was to release the report card at her officlal residence, but since she was busy in her Parivartan Yatra the venue was shifted. Rabri was away in Rohtas on Wednesday, where she addressed a big public meeting.
