Non-MBA Lalu to be management guru in Birsa Jail

Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD president Lalu Prasad would teach Political Science and Management to the inmates of the Birsa Munda Central Jail in Ranchi. He would be paid Rs 25 daily for this work.

According to jail superintendent in charge Virendra Kumar Singh due to his age, health and political status, the jail authorities could not make him do hard work.

He would be requested to teach the inmates and it would be nice if he teaches Political Science and Management, Singhsaid.

Lalu has a degree in Political Science and Law, but none in Management. Yet he was still invited by Harvard Business School in the United States and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, to give lectures on Management. He was credited for the turn-around in the Indian Railway––from the loss making organization to the profit earning one. But after his departure from the Rail Bhawan things once again started deteriorating in the Indian Railways.

Keeping this success in mind the jail authorities have decided to request him to teach Management too.
Reports quoting sources said that there are around 3,000 inmates, both convicted and undertrials, in this biggest jail in Jharkhand’s capital. Out of this about 200 are preparing for Plus-2 or Intermediate examinations, 100 for graduation and 50 for post-graduation.
