President’s visit on Hunkar Rally day: BJP accuses Nitish of playing dirty politics

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bharatiya Janata Party has accused Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar of deliberately disturbing the October 27 Hunkar Rally of the party as it is to be addressed primarily by none else but the saffron party’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi.
The former deputy chief minister Sushil Modi said in Patna on Sunday that first the state administration refused to give full Gandhi Maidan for the rally and now the Nitish government has invited President Pranaab Mukherjee to the state capital on that very date. This would create hurdle on the path of the movement of the rallyists as Patna would be barricdaded for his security.
Modi tweated that “The whole city will be barricaded for President’s visit. NaMo’s plane will not be allowed to land till President’s special plane takes off?”
According to SuMo the President would be in Patna on October 26 and 27.
He, however, added that Nitish wants to sabotage the Hunkar Rally but he would not succeed in his efforts.
Notwithstanding allegations by former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi official sources in Bihar claimed that the schedule of President is decided by his office and not the state government as is being alleged by the BJP.
The officials also clarified that on October 27, that is Hunkar Rally day, the President would be visiting Bhojpur district to attend a function with Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. Thus it would not be appropriate to put the blame on the state government for deliberately creating hurdles on that day.
