Be it Old Age Pension, Pension for Handicap, Widow-Pension, schemes for girls etc all are being siphoned off by the official machinery of the district. He said he repeatedly approached the district magistrate and other officials but to no avail.

He said while the government rate of foodgrains for red card holders is Rs 153.90 for 25 kg in Begusarai, especially in his constituency, the beneficiaries are to pay Rs 170 for it.
