12 coaches of Capital Express derail, no casualty reported

Patna,(BiharTimes): Twelve coaches of Danapur-New Jalpaiguri Capital Express got derailed between Gulzarbagh and Patna Sahab railway station at around mid-night on Tuesday. Five of them are sleeper coaches.
However, nobody received any injuries.

The mishap has thrown traffic on Patna-Mokamah route out of gear. However, trains are running on Up line, though they are running late. Efforts are on to remove the derailed coaches.

According to the DRM, Danapur, N K Gupta, the down line would be cleared by 8:00 PM on Wednesday.
Eleven passenger trains have been cancelled and five have been diverted to the Gaya route.

Patna-Saharsa Inter-City Express, Patna-Dhanbad Inter-City Express and several local passenger trains have been cancelled while Toofan Mail, Akal Takht Express, Patna-Puri Express etc have been diverted through Gaya route.
