Mangani Lal Mandal quits JD(U), calls Nitish a dictator

Patna,(BiharTimes): The ruling Janata Dal (United) Member of Parliament from Jhanjharpur, Mangani Lal Mandal, on Wednesday quit the party and joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
Announcing his decision in Patna he praised RJD chief Lalu Yadav and called him a Messiah of poor. On the other hand Mandal called chief minister Nitish Kumar a dictator and said he would be left alone after the 2014 Lok Sabha poll.
The decision is being interpreted as a big blow as Mandal belongs to the Extremely Backward Caste category. Only a fortnight back the Janata Dal (United) suspended a Mahadalit and an EBC MP, Purnamasi Ram and Captain Jai Narayan Nishad, respectively. The two are likely to join the BJP. However, some reports say Purnamasi Ram may come back to RJD.
JD(U) rely heavily on Mahadalit and EBC votes and the loss of these three MPs may cost the party dealy in North Bihar.
While Purnamasi Ram represents Gopalganj, Captain Nishad is MP from Muzaffarpur Lok Sabha seat respectively.
