Will not compromise with principles: Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday reiterated that he is not going to make any compromise with principles and alleged that efforts are on by some people to create a certain atmosphere in the country. But this would not last long, he added.

Speaking at a function on the release of book on veteran Socialist leader and former Union minister George Fernandes the Bihar Chief Minister said that any divisive move would not succeed and progress could be achieved only by binding everyone.

He said India is a vast country and can progress only by taking everyone along and not by leaving out someone.

Stating that everyone is aware of the prevailing condition in the country he said “we should do our work with determination.”

Without taking anyone’s name and without directly referring to Janata Dal (United)’s divorce with BJP he said “we took a decision based on principles as we felt that we should not compromise with principles.”
He urged old associates and followers of Fernandes to work unitedly to carry forward his legacy and lauded the contribution of Biharis to the society.

The book on George Fernandes has been written by Ranga Rachure and Jaidev Dole.
