Disqualification would not weaken us: Rabri Devi

Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD leader and former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi said that the disqualification of Lalu Yadav would not at all affect the party, which will continue to grow strong with each passing day.

Reacting to the news that her husband has been disqualified from Lok Sabha––incidentally on Karwa Chauth day––she said he has not been disqualified for whole life.

“Laluji became a victim of conspiracy. There was no proof. What happened in DA case. Even my house was raided,” she asked adding “we would go to the people. We have organized programmes all over the state. All the secular parties and those having faith in social justice should come together now.”

Hitting out at the Bihar chief minister she said Nitish Kumar does not have the guts to stop Narendra Modi as Lalu Yadav did to Lal Krishna Advani exactly 23 years ago. On October 23, 1990 his Rath Yatra was stopped in Samastipur and Advani arrest.

She said Nitish is simply a makhauta. Once Advani is made the PM candidate of the BJP he would abandon secularism and jump into the saffron bandwagon.
