JD(U) minister blasts Rahul Gandhi, Narendra Modi

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar’s agriculture minister, Narendra Singh, is known for his blunt and sometimes off the cuff remarks.

But when, of all the leaders, he singles out Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi for criticism then it suggests something else––growing distance between his party, Janata Dal (United) and Congress.

Speaking to the media after Rahul Gandhi’s speech in Rajasthan in which he talked about the assassination of his grandmother and father and feared that he too may be killed Narendra Singh said that there is no space whatsoever for such emotional speeches. Emotional bhashan de kar Rahul Gandhi thugne ka kaam kar rahe hain (Rahul Gandhi is just cheating the peope by giving such emotional speeches), he added.

What he wants to suggest. After all Mahatma Gandhi too was assassinated, but not Jawaharlal Nehru, Motilal Nehru, Vijaylakshmi Pandit, the senior-most minister in the Nitish cabinet asked.

In the same breath he came down heavily on BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi and said Pradhan Mantri ka pad koi bachon ka khelona nahin hai (The post of Prime Minister is not a toy for children to play), he said adding that be it Rahul Gandhi or Narendra Modi they are not even fit to become the chairman of any Zilla Parishad (district board).

Showering praise on Bihar chief minister he said if there is any PM material in India, it is Nitish Kumar who is on the number one.
