Home Minister forced to Cancel Patna visit as Nitish is camping in Rajgir

Patna,(BiharTimes): While Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde has to cancel his scheduled visit to Patna today as Chief Minister Nitish would be out of the capital city to participate in  Chintan Shivir (Brainstorming Camp) of Janata Dal (Oct 28-29) at Rajgir.

Surprisingly, almost all ministers are camping in Rajgir when bombs are still getting recovered from Gandhi Maidan. At this crucial juncture when many security agencies have reached Patna for the investigation, the state capital is devoid of political executives.

Nitish held telephonic talks with Shinde on Monday evening. After that home minister has changed his programme. Now only the home secretary is coming.

What is more Nitish would be flying to New Delhi to attend the Convocation Against Communalism to be organized on October 30. He would meet Sushil Kumar Shinde there.

JD (U) leaders have literally been rendered speechless by the combined opposition onslaught because of the monumental failure. How can so many blasts take place in Gandhi Maidan?

Political observers are of the view that the chief minister’s statement that his government did not get any intelligence input about the blasts is simply ridiculous. Should a state government react or do anything only when it gets the intelligence input from central agencies.

Earlter Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde was criticised by the BJP for attending a Bollywood event hours after multiple blasts killed six people in Patna on Sunday.
