Missing girl case will be recommended to CBI: Nitish 


Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Nitish Kumar said on Monday that the state government would recommend the case of missing Muzaffarpur girl, Navruna, to the Central Bureau of Investigation. 

This assurance was given to her mother Maitri Chakraborty at his weekly Janata Darbar.

According to Maitri and her other daughter, Navrupa they told the chief minister that they are not happy with the CID investigation and only the CBI can find 12-year old Navruna, who has been missing since September 16, 2012, from her Muzaffarpur home.

Nitish asked the mother and daughter to meet director-general of police Abhayanand and principal secretary, home, Amir Subhani for further action.

Later, Nitish told the media that the state government does not have any problem in recommending the case to the CBI. If it can solve the mystery, nothing can be better, he added.
