Security beefed up in Mahavir Temple after threatening phone call

Patna,(BiharTimes): An unidentified person called up the railway control room on Thursday, threatening to carry out a subversive act at the Mahavir Sthan, the famous temple situated close to the Patna junction railway station.
The Bihar Police has beefed up security in the temple, dedicated to Hanuman.
As the threat came only two months after the Bodh Gaya serial blasts the state administration is keeping a strict vigil on all the activities.
Police said search was carried out on the temple premises soon after the message was flashed. The state police and the government railway police (GRP) pressed into service dog and bomb squads.
However, it could not be known whether the threat was for real or merely a prank.
