Lalu delegates power to 15 senior RJD leaders

Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad has constituted a team of 15 senior party leaders to strengthen the party at the grassroots level in all the 38 districts of the state.

Former Union minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh has been made incharge of Muzaffarpur, Sheohar and Madhubani districts, while newly-elected Maharajganj MP Prabhunath Singh has been assigned Saran, Siwan and Gopalganj.

These 15 senior leaders have been asked to organise district-wise conferences for party workers between September 21 and September 30, followed by Assembly constituency-wise meetings from October 21 to October 30.

At the party-workers meeting in Patna on Wednesday, Lalu adopted a strategy for Mission 2014.

He said on the occasion that the real fight in the next polls is against communal forces, such as the BJP as Nitish Kumar is no factor in Bihar now.

Lalu has decided to delegate the power keeping in mind the fact that the fodder scam ruling may go against him.
