We will go it alone: JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav

Patna,(BiharTimes): Janata Dal (United) national president Sharad Yadav said that his party would go it alone in the coming Lok Sabha election.
“At the moment we are not in alliance with any political party or group. So, we will contest all 40 seats in the coming Lok Sabha election,” he was quoted by Hindustan Times as saying.
Till date nothing had happened on the issue of pre-poll alliance with Congress or any political party in Bihar, he told the daily over phone from New Delhi.
He did not see any political significance in the overtures made by the Congress towards his party.
As of now the question of JD(U) having any working arrangement with Congress in any form does not arise at all, he added.
A decision will be taken when there is such an offer from any political party in the future, he said.
Sharad’s statement is being seen in the light of chief minister Nitish Kumar’s comment that any talk of alliance would be decided after October.
