Nitish may retreat to Rajgir on Hunkar Rally day

Patna,(BiharTimes): When the BJP will be organizing its Hunkar (battle-cry) Rally in Patna on October 27 there is likelihood that the Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar may not be in the state capital to have the first hand feel of the situation.

According to Janata Dal (United) sources the party is likely to organize its Chintan Shivir (Introspection Camp) in Rajgir––CM’s home turf––during those days.

Though the dates are yet to be finalized state JD(U) president Vashist Naryan Singh confirmed that the Chintan Shivir is likely to be held in Rajgir during that time. However, he said the precise date would be decided soon.

Not only Nitish Kumar, but all JD(U) MPs, MLAs, MLCs and party office bearers would attend the Rajgir camp to chalk out strategy for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

The state party chief rubbished the media speculation that the JD(U) has deliberately chosen that date for its camp.

On the other hand the state BJP general secretary Suraj Nandan Mehta said JD(U) had timed its Chintan Shivir out of fear of the grand success of BJP's Hunkar Rally.

Teasing the Bihar chief minister he said it would not be Chintan Shivir of JD(U) but a Chintit (worried) Shivir of Nitish Kumar’s party.
