Raghuram Rajan panel was an exercise in futility: Sushil Modi

Patna,(BiharTimes): Reacting to the Dr Raghuram Rajan Committee report former Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said that it diluted the case of Bihar by clubbing it with 10 states in the category of “Least Developed”.

Talking to BiharTimes he said it amounted to khoda pahad nikli chuhiya––a total exercise in futility. The people of Bihar have been cheated by both the Congress and Janata Dal (United) in the name of special category status.

The Committee in its report hardly made any mention of granting special category status to Bihar.
