Lalu, Sushil ask people not to throw stones at Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD chief Lalu Prasad has urged people not to throw shoes and slippers at Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and instead strike at him through votes.

Usko chot lag jayega. Usko vote ka chot dijiye” (He might get injured. Strike at him through votes), Lalu said after flagging off an election chariot of RJD from the party office in the state capital on Wednesday.

He once again described Nitish and Narendra Modi as ‘purane yaar’ (old friends) and said both the leaders were quarrelling in public to befool the voters.

Former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, said using stones and slippers for expression of their anger is not allowed in democracy. “I appeal to the people to use their votes as a weapon for expressing their anger,” he added.

Interestingly, Nitish blamed his political rivals for the disruptions caused in his rallies.

However, SuMo ridiculed Nitish’s charges that the BJP was behind these disruptions He recalled that during the JP movement, the Congress attributed everything to “foreign hand”.
