Nitish ridicules Lalu on “not being invited” by Congress for rallies

Patna,(BiharTimes): Even as the Congress and RJD leaders have announced that Sonia Gandhi and Lalu Prasad would be sharing dais after April 10 Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday described the Congress' move of not inviting RJD chief to its public meetings as a smart strategy.

Talking to the media he said that this is just a public posturing and the love between the two parties is intact.

He was commenting on Lalu’s absence from the election meeting of Sonia Gandhi in Sasaram and Rahul Gandhi in Aurangabad respectively.

Incidentally, RJD’s candidate from Karakat, Kanti Singh, was very much present at the Sonia Gandhi’s rally in Sasaram, where she came to garner support for the Speaker of Lok Sabha, Meira Kumar.

But Nitish asked: How could Rahul embrace Lalu in the public when he had torn the ordinance on tainted MPs a few months back. He, however, added that such gestures are just a show off. In reality their love for each other is not over, he said.
