Lalu addresses meeting in daughter’s constituency, warns of divisive forces

Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday reiterated as to how Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar sat on the lap of Sangh Parivar for full 17 years and how both of them are still supporting each other.

Addressing an election meeting in Danapur in Patliputra parliamentary constituency, from where his daughter, Misa Bharati, is the candidate, he recalled as to how he got Lal Krishna Advani arrested and saved the state from communal holocaust.

He said how he ordered the police not to let anyone, even a mouse die, in the communal clash. “You Biharis do not know that your name has been written in golden letters for this achievement,” he added.

He said that it was Nitish who abandoned social justice and joined hands with the RSS. It was none else but he who appealed to “Narendra Bhai to come out of Gujarat.”

“You have been divided on castes and communities, Dalit and Mahadalit lines,” the RJD chief said.
He said a love marriage took place between kamal wala and teer wala. “We all have arranged marriages…but they got engaged in the love marriage. But the married collapsed.”

“They conspired to throw me into jail in Ranchi. Nitish used to gleefully make speeches those days. Narendra Modi thought that I am finished,” he said adding that “after my release the media asked me ‘where will you go first’. Upon this I replied I would first go to the riots-hit Muzaffarnagar.”

He warned the people of divisive forces who are out to divide the country.
