Patna,(BiharTimes): Janata Dal (United) leader and food minister in the Nitish cabinet, Shyam Rajak, on Saturday came down heavily on Yoga-guru, Baba Ramdev, for what he said his anti-Dalit remarks.
In a statement he said by saying that Rahul Gandhi goes to Dalits’ houses for honey-moon, Ramdev is using the language of RSS.
Rajak said Dalits have been insulted by this statement and he deserves a place in jail.
The Bihar minister asked the Centre to lodge a case against Ramdev under relevant Sections SC/ST Act (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Atrocities Act) and put him behind bars.
He also criticized BJP’s prime ministerial pick, Narendra Modi, for seeking the help of Ramdev for mobilizing support.
