Patna,(BiharTimes): A tantrik was bobbitised by a girl in Madhepura district after he allegedly raped her under the pretext of curing her.

A Times of India report said though the incident took place several weeks back it came to light recently.
The report said that the tantrik, who is also the maternal uncle of the girl, was called home by her mother after the girl fell ill. After examining her, the tantrik told the mother the girl was under the influence of evil forces and took her to an empty room on the pretext of curing her.

The tantric outraged her modesty notwithstanding her repeated protests. The incident reportedly took place on June 1.

On the next night, the girl visited the tantrik’s house with a mobile-phone and a knife.

She not only managed to record the conversations but also castrated the tantrik with the knife.

Incidentally, she managed to escape. She and her parents later tried to file an FIR at Madhepura, but the police refused to cooperate.

After this incident, according to the report, a panchayat hearing was also organised where the girl was summoned. Finally on July 30, an FIR was lodged with the all-woman police station in Madhepura.
