State chiefs of JD(U), RJD, Congress share dais in Mohania

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): For the first time in the state politics presidents of the Bihar unit of JD(U), RJD and Congress on Saturday addressed election meeting in Mohania, where by-poll is due on August 21.
State RJD chief Ram Chandra Purvey, his Janata Dal (United) counterpart Bashistha Narayan Singh and Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee chief, Ashok Chaudhary, campaigned for the common candidate of the grand alliance. They would address in other Assenmbly constituencies too. In all 10 Assembly seats are going for the by-poll. RJD and JD(U) are contesting in four seats each while Congress in two.
RJD national chief Lalu Prasad and JD(U) leader and former chief minister Nitish Kumar would share dais for the first time in two decades in Chapra. The date has not yet been announced.
The leaders of the three parties have agreed not to speak against each other.
