Patna,(BiharTimes): Reacting to RJD supremo Lalu Prasad’s comment Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said on Sunday that the former had failed to understand his statement.
Talking to the media after tying ‘rakhi’ to a tree in Eco Park in Patna he asked: “How can I say that Nitish Kumar is not our leader. He was the leader of the Janata Dal (United), he is our leader and would remain so in future.”
Yet it is also true that the RJD and Congress would have their own leader, he added.
According to him Lalu had said so because the media have misinterpreted what he had said.
It needs to be recalled that Lalu had on Saturday said that it was Manjhi’s political compulsion to prop the name of Nitish. If he does not do so Nitish would throw him out.
