SuMo flays Nitish on conversion statement

Patna,(BiharTimes): Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Saturday asked if former chief minister Nitish Kumar is serious on the issue of conversion even when 13 poor villagers of Kahalgaon sub-division of Bhagalpur and Munger districts have embraced another religion
in the last few days.

In a statement SuMo asked what initiative would he take for formulation of law to stop faith conversion through unlawful means. Retorting to Nitish Kumar’s criticism of BJP and silence of Narendra Modi on the issue of “ghar wapsi” Sushil Modi, who himself married outside his own faith, said the Congress, RJD
and JD(U) were stalling proceedings in Rajya Sabha as they did not want passage of legislation on GST, insurance and in the field of coal and thus preventing the Prime Minister from accelerating pace of development in the country. He alleged that some people are unable to digest the rising ‘popularity’ of Narendra Modi.
