Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday asked the people to take pledge (Sankalp) to assure victory to Janata Dal (United) in all the 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar.

Addressing a Sankalp Rally in Lakhisarai he asked people to take Sankalp to fight for the special category status and oppose communal and corrupt forces.

He continued to attack the BJP as well as the Congress and highlighted the achievements of his government. He again pooh-poohed the pre-poll surveys and asked people not to be carried away by the propaganda.

He accused the Centre of cheating Bihar and its people by putting the demand of special category status in cold storage for sheer political reasons. The special status demand is a right of Bihar and its people.
