Janata Dal (United) MLA passes away

Patna,(BiharTimes): The sitting Janata Dal (United) MLA from Maharajganj in Bihar, Damodar Singh, (66) died of a heart attack at Jhumritilaya in Jharkhand on Thursday.

He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.

With his death the number of JD(U) MLAs in Bihar came down to 116. Only two days back one of its ministers, Parween Amanullah, quit the government, the party and even resigned from the primary membership of the party.
