Ashwani Choubey special: I warned against making Nitish CM eight years back

Patna,(BiharTimes): Claiming that he had warned the BJP leadership more than eight years back against letting Nitish Kumar become the chief minister as he should never be trusted former Bihar health minister Ashwani Choubey said on Saturday that he would quit as BJP MLA if Janata Dal (United) won even a single seats in the state in the coming Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking at a function attended, among others, by Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley and other senior BJP leaders he said Nitish had ‘poison teeth’.

Jaitley, however, said said that Choubey need not resign as the JD(U) is not going to win any seat in Bihar.

Choubey was among 11 BJP ministers, who had served under Nitish Kumar for well over seven and a half years. When he was in power his relationship with the chief minister was exceptionally good.
