Government transfers 311 block development officers

Patna,(BiharTimes): In a big overhaul the state government on Monday transferred 311 block development officers. All these officers were on their posts for more than three years.
Eleven of these BDOs are tainted and the rural development department has sent them back to their parent departments.
More transfer is likely as the dates of election are about to be announced.
