JD(U) asks Ashwini Choubey to resign before LS poll

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Janata Dal (United) has strongly denounced the statement of BJP leader Ashwini Kumar Choubey that he would quit his Bhagalpur Assembly seat if the JD(U) wins even a single seat in the coming Lok Sabha election. On Saturday Choubey had even said that he had warned the BJP leadership eight years ago not to support Nitish Kumar as chief minister as he has poisonous teeth.
Talking to the media JD(U) spokesman, Neeraj Kumar, said that instead of waiting for the election result to come Choubey should resign now and contest again to see how unpopular he and his party has become in Bihar.
He said that as the BJP has lost its base in Bihar it is busy collecting scrap iron to build statue of Sardar Patel. Earlier, they collected ‘enta’ (bricks) all over the country and organized Enta Puja. What happened to all those bricks? Where is the account? Neeraj asked.
He said that the saffron party is busy befooling the people as it has lost its support base.
