Patna,(BiharTimes): RJD general secretary Ram Kripal Yadav on Monday rejected the allegation that Bihar’s minority welfare minister, Shahid Ali Khan, has any link with two alleged Indian Mujahideen operatives.
Speaking at the party’s Minority Cell meeting in Samastipur he said that Shahid Ali Khan can in no way be associated with any terrorist group. “Earlier, he had been in our party and we know him well,” he said. He strongly refuted any move to malign his and other Muslim leaders’ image.
On the other hand while addressing Dawedar Rally in Muzaffarpur, the CPI ML general secretary, Dipankar Bhattacharya, sought a high level probe on the allegation levelled against Shahid Ali Khan.
On Sunday the Congress leader, Sadanand Singh, also demanded a probe by central agency into the letter written by SSB.
