Patna,(BiharTimes): A high-level meeting was held on Saturday after Intelligence Bureau sent an alert to the state police headquarters that terror groups could be planning an attack on BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, during his rally in Muzaffarpur on March 3.

Though sources said the alert was not specific the police headquarters has taken the alert seriously because serial bomb blasts rocked Patna on October 27 Hunkar Rally in Patna.

The alert reached the special branch and was forwarded to senior police officers and the district magistrate of Muzaffarpur. The police and the district administration are taking a concrete step.
