Patna,(BiharTimes): Vaishali MLA Anu Shukla, wife of jailed JD(U) strongman Munna Shukla, on Friday threatened to quit the party and fight Lok Sabha election.

Talking to the media she said that she would definitely contest election from Vaishali Lok Sabha seat even if she is not given ticket by her own party, the Janata Dal (United).

Whether she too would go to the BJP or not can not yet be said, but she had made it clear that she can even contest as Independent. At present Vaishali is represented by former Union rural development minister, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, of RJD.
