Patna,(BiharTimes): The biennial election to the five Rajya Sabha seats would be held on February 7.
According to the Election Commission the notification for the election will be issued on January 21 and nominations can be filed till January 28. The polling will be held on February 7.

In all election would be held for 55 Rajya Sabha seats from 16 states.

Three of these five seats are with the JD(U) while one each with RJD and BJP. However, now the RJD in not in position of re-electing any member as it has only 22 MLAs. So the JD(U) and BJP are likely to win three and two seats respectively.
