Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday announced the names of two Rajya Sabha candidates from Bihar. They are the sitting MP and party’s national vice president, Dr C P Thakur, and a new face, R K Sinha.

The party’s announcement came in New Delhi on the day the Janata Dal (United) announced three of its candidates in Patna.

Sinha’s name was in the race along with that of S S Ahluwalia and a couple of others. He is a Kayastha and runs a private security agency. He has a long association with the saffron party and was aspiring to enter Rajya Sabha for the last many years.
