Patna,(BiharTimes): Union minister Jairam Ramesh on Friday said there is no division in the Congress party over the issue of alliance, but added that the doors have been kept open and no final decision has yet been taken.

Talking to the media in Patna he said the party has not shut any door and all options are open for tie up with secular parties. The decision in this regard would be taken in a few days.

Jairam refused to give any categorical answer on whether the Congress party would ally with the Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United) or Lalu Prasad’s Rashtriya Janata Dal.

He said that the partymen are in favour of alliance but with whom it would be decided within a few. State Congress chief Ashok Chaudhary was also present at the Press conference.
