BJP flays Nitish for Bihar’s failure to send Republic Day tableau to Delhi

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday criticized at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the failure of the state to send a tableau during Republic Day parade in Delhi as well as the absence of names from the state for honours given on the occasion.
In a statement the former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said that Bihar failed to recommend any name for honours like Padma Shree, Padma Vibhusan and Padma Bhusan despite the fact that many people had applied for it.
He said this is because the chief minister does not have time for administrative review and had left the responsibility on officers.
Modi said crores of people of Bihar would be left disappointed that no tableau of their state would be visible at the Rajpath during Republic Day parade.
The BJP leader said he had learnt that the state government had sent three proposals for tableau but none of them were accepted. The Bihar government just sat after sending the proposals and did not pursue it as a result of which none of the proposals was selected.
