Cabinet nod for dental college in Nalanda district


Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar cabinet on Monday sanctioned Rs 400.14 crore for the establishment of a government dental college and hospital at Paidna in Rahui block of Nalanda district. A sum of Rs four crore has been approved for expenditure on the project in the current financial year. A 100-bed hospital would be set up at the college, which would have 100 students.

The cabinet also approved the creation of posts of one veterinary doctor and compounder each for the Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve (VTR) (division-II).

The cabinet also sanctioned a sum of Rs 170.90 crore for the 'Mukhyamantri Tassar Development Project up to 2016-17.
