35 more IPS officers shifted in Bihar

 


Patna,(BiharTimes): In yet another overhaul in the police department within a week the Jitan Ram Manjhi government on Monday shifted 35 more IPS officers.

Gupteshwar Pandey has been made the new ADG (Headquarters).

The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Headquarters, Ravindra Kumar has been shifted to Vigilance Investigation Bureau.

According to an official notification Ravindra Kumar will also hold additional charge of the ADG, Bihar Military Police.

Sushil M Khopre, who was recently made the IG, Muzaffarpur Zone, is the new IG (Operations), while Amit Kumar Jain, who was the DIG, Shahabad Range, has been promoted and made the IG (Home Guards and Fire Services).

Inspector General (IG) of Police, Provision and Home Guards, Vinay Kumar is now IG, Crime Investigation Department (CID).

Praveen Vashistha, IG (Wireless and Technical Services) is the new IG of State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) while Jitendra Kumar, IG (CID), has been shifted to Special Vigilance Unit as its IG.

The Purnea Range DIG, Paras Nath too has been promoted and made IG of Muzaffarpur Zone while Bachuchu Singh Meena, DIG, Magadh Range, has been promoted and made the IG, Bhagalpur Zone.

Sudhanshu Kumar, the DIG of Munger Range has been promoted as IG (Provision), while Sunil Kumar, the DIG of Central Range, Patna, is now the new IG (Budget, Appeal and Welfare).

Ashok Kumar who was the DIG of Electricity Vigilance Unit has been made IG, State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB).
